Ease Of Use
Summary : The GoBites Trio utensils easily slip in to your pack or camp box with their slim case design and are ready to grab and go for any meal.
We’ve all used plastic ware when camping and by the time the meal is done you’re left with one tine left on your fork or the knife is so flimsy that it really shouldn’t even be called a knife. The Human Gear GoBites Trio Utensil Set is nothing like your past experiences. The trio is well-made, sturdy and slides easily in to a slim carrying case.
Appearance: The first thing you notice about this utensil case is just how slim the case is that holds the utensils. It can easily slide in a pack or camp box, you’d barely know it’s there. The strong first impressions don’t stop there, opening the case reveals three tidy utensils all locked into their positions just right. Snapping in and out of their places the utensils are smooth and ergonomically appealing. They are slightly shorter than your average utensils at home but it doesn’t hamper your ability to chow down on some delicious food. So we feel we can look past that.
Ease Of Use: It really doesn’t get much easier than snapping out your needed utensil from it’s slim little case and going to town on your meal. The Trio is packaged so well that it truly makes meal time easier. No searching through your backpack or camp box for that fork that fell to the bottom, it is snapped in and ready when you are. The utensils snap in to their places very easy but also fit snug which is a great feature. The tapered “splitter tines” on the fork easily help split food, the spoon is shaped correctly for easy slurping and the knife actually cuts (we’ve all been there trying to saw through a steak). Oh and did we mention the knife also has a bottle opener, genius!
Durability GoBites Trio is made with a proprietary ultra-durable nylon that makes them so much tougher than plastic ware. It’s also safe to put in your mouth as the set is BPA-free, PC-free, and phthalate-free. That’s a lot of free. The case was also made to take a beating in your pack or camp box and continues to holds those handy utensils in tightly. We’ve seen people eat with other utensil sets and they are timid to even touch their food thinking any second that utensil is going to snap. Maybe just looking at it wrong will snap it. If we just described you, then you need to make the switch to GoBites so you can eat with peace.
Value: At first the Trio point took us back a bit. For utensils you use when camping it seemed slightly steep but after using a few times it made sense. Having the case is amazing for packing, it fits anywhere, it’s so nice to just pull the set out and be ready to chow. Plus they aren’t just like plastic ware, they work like your normal kitchen silverware. But instead of draining your kitchen before leaving or using old silverware it is really nice to have a dedicated set that stays with the camp gear.
