Peach Cobbler
Recipe type: Campfire Biscuit Cup Filling
Cuisine: Camp Cooking
A sweet summertime favorite. This recipe uses canned peaches, but if you hit a farmer's market and fresh peaches are in season, it's even better!
  • 1 small can peaches
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. Bourbon whiskey (optional)
  1. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add flour and stir continuously for about two minutes.
  3. Add brown sugar and stir until completely melted into butter.
  4. Add peaches (with some of the juice) and Bourbon (if using.)
  5. Simmer until juice is simmering and thickening. Stir frequently.
  6. Remove from heat and spoon into biscuit cups. Top with whipped cream.
