Camping at Chatfield State Park
At Chatfield State Park, you can go out on a boat or hike to see the views. The four camping areas at Chatfield have 197 sites. You will find them walking distance to the lake with picnic tables and grills. Amenities include centrally located water, flush toilets, hot showers, and laundry. Some of the sites have hook ups for water, sewer, and electricity.
Things To Do at Chatfield State Park
The park has many fun things to do including biking, boating, and fishing. You can go horseback riding at the stables or take a hot air balloon ride. You can swim seasonally and go picnicking with several areas for outdoor dining. There is snowshoeing in the winter and jet skiing in the summer. Paddle boarding is popular and there is lots of wildlife to watch nearby. Pets are allowed and there is an off leash area where you can take your dog to get some exercise.
