The first National Hardware Show took place in New York City in 1945. It has grown every year since then, and now has over 2,500 exhibitors across 15 different categories. You’ll find everything from coolers to bluetooth speakers to tents, and attendance exceeds 25,000 people. This is why 50 Campfires is proud to announce that we’ll be attending the National Hardware Show this year to discover new products and hand out awards.
Why the National Hardware Show? Because it allows us to show you the entire spectrum of camping gear that people are using day in, day out. We love attending the Outdoor Retailer show twice a year. It’s sexy and everything there is cutting edge. We also know that a lot of people drop into a big box store like Home Depot to help fill up their camp box, because in reality you need both of these places to get everything you need. At the National Hardware Show, we’ll undoubtedly see products that maybe aren’t marketed for the campsite, but would be perfect for it. We hope to show you more products that will make you want to get out and do some exploring.
