Rainy Day S’mores may be some of the best news yet. There is nothing better than a fun way to make your own individual S’more even when it’s raining. That’s right, even a rainy day can’t stop you from cooking up a tasty roasted marshmallow, some gooey chocolate and a graham cracker to top it off. All you need is a compact handheld butane torch (ours is a BernzOmatic 3-in-1 Micro Torch) and your typical S’mores ingredients. You can even substitute your chocolate for some Rolos if you want. Yum. These are so easy to make and they are absolutely delicious! All you have to do is place your marshmallows on a roasting stick, start up your torch and begin to roast your marshmallow over the flame. Then, you assemble the S’more on the graham cracker and add the chocolate. The best thing about this camping tip is that its fast, and having a handheld torch in your camp box is a great idea for any emergencies. Even S’more emergencies!

Our Rainy Day S’mores also have a tasty twist that traditional campfire S’mores don’t have, ooey gooey chocolate. Since most of the time your S’mores are gobbled up before the heat of the marshmallow melts the chocolate, you don’t get the gooey chocolate of a Rainy Day S’more. All you have to do is lightly tap the chocolate with the flame until it’s melted to your desire. Then, you’re ready to eat! This version of the traditional campfire dessert will save you and your family the disappointment of not having S’mores if your camping trip gets rained on. You have to try it!
