Strawberry and Nutella Dessert
I know that for me, whenever the sun goes down, I crave sweets. We have recently discovered this Strawberry and Nutella Dessert and it’s one of the tastiest and easiest desserts to make to satisfy that sweet-tooth! You wouldn’t think such a simple recipe could be so delicious, but let me tell you – it is.
The best part about the Strawberry and Nutella Dessert is that you can even sneak it in during your breakfast meal. It does go perfect with coffee and hey it has strawberries so it can pass as healthy. Add section here on why you like to use the pie iron – can link to recipes.
What I love most about this recipe is how simple it is to make. Although we always try to do prep work before we hit the campsite, this recipe can easily be made at the site. If you want to get really technical you could cut up the strawberries beforehand to make it easy to assemble. When I originally found this recipe, I was slightly unsure if my family like the combination. But I figured it was worth a try and we were all pleasantly surprised. The fresh strawberries give you a sweet and tart flavor followed up with the savory nutella.
The ease of this recipe allows you to give a pie iron to the kids and let them prepare their own, they always seem to have a great time making their own meals over the campfire.
