At 50 Campfires we take turns each week with taking over the controls that power the music and vibe in the office. I always like to start the week off light with some classic Beatles and Oasis. We need that time to get back into the flow off the work week after spending the weekend enjoying the outdoors.
I know everyone might be sick of Take Me To Church by Hozier, but how can you not love the chorus? I have always been a huge fan of Jack White and Lazaretto is the first vinyl I ever bought. The record is awesome and the vinyl offers new features that have never been done before. Always been a huge fan of Modest Mouse and the new single Lampshade on Fire does not disappoint. Alt-J ∆ Breezeblocks blew me away the first time I heard it. Never heard anyone sing in that style before. Katy Perry is a favorite around the office and it is best to please the masses. Pretty Lights Keep Moving is my jam and my go to when I need motivation to finish the day off strong. Broken Bells always finds a place in almost all of my playlists. I end with Ghostwriter, the 50 Campfires hype jam, that gets us excited and pumped up for what needs to get done.
