Camping in Hillsborough River State Park is offered though full facility camping, primitive camping, and youth camping for their guests. Primitive camping is for guests who enjoy being out in natural and the full facility camping is for individuals who want to go camping, but still want electricity, water, bathrooms, and a bed to sleep in.

The park features hiking trails, bicycle trails, nature trails, restroom facilities, showers, playgrounds, and picnic areas. The park is even pet friendly, so individuals can bring their dogs camping with them.

Operating hours
The park is open from 8AM until sunset, 365 days a year. The concession is open from 9AM to 5PM and from 10AM to 4PM on holidays. The hours of operation on the park are subject to change depending on the weather.

Fees
Admission Fee:
$6.00 per vehicle (there is a limit 8 people per vehicle)

$4.00 for a single occupant vehicle

$2.00 for pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, and passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass

$60.00 for a bus load of people or $2.00 per person (whichever is less)

Camping Fees:
$24.00 per night, plus tax (including water and electricity)

Florida residents who are over the age of 65 and hold a social security disability award certificate are permitted to 50 percent off of the current campsite fees.

Organized Youth or Adult Group Camping:
Youth: $1.00
Adults: $5.00

A deposit of $20.00 is required at the time of reservation.
