Camping Emerald Bay State Park in California

The Emerald Bay State Park is located adjacent to the D.L. Bliss State Park; for that reason a number of the campsites that both parks share. Emerald Bay State Park is recognized by many of its guests as one of the most photographic places in the entire world.

Camping at Emerald Bay State Park

Emerald Bay State Park has over 200 family oriented campsites. The campsites can accommodate trailers that are up to 18 feet or motorhomes that are up to 21 feet. Twenty of the campsites are actually reachable by boat. However, the boats have to be launched from private facilities that are located about six miles away from the park. There are also 45 tent only campsites for individuals who enjoy more primitive camping.

Amenities at Emerald Bay State Park

Each of the campsites includes a comfort station, fire rings, restrooms, showers, and a water fill up station. The park also has a number of hiking trails and a breathtaking view of the lake that can be seen from Eagle Falls.
