BioLite NanoGrid Review

We often venture into the outdoors to escape to something simpler. Where we can leave behind most of our conveniences and experience something new. Summary : A go-anywhere, light-anything BioLite NanoGrid system

We often venture into the outdoors to escape to something simpler. Where we can leave behind most of our conveniences and experience something new. Some things we want to leave behind, such as work or the noisy next-door neighbors, but some things we want to take with us to make our trip a little more comfortable and enjoyable. This is where the BioLite NanoGrid shines. It brings many comforts of home in one small, lightweight package.

Functionality: The BioLite NanoGrid is made up of two main components: the PowerLight is a combination lantern, flashlight and charger rolled into one unit. The SiteLights are smaller 150-Lumen lights (up to four) that can be strung together to create a large, illuminated area. From charging a phone to lighting your campsite, the applications are nearly endless.

Weight: Weighing under a pound (for the PowerLight and two SiteLight sets) it is an incredibly light system. Considering it is taking the place of a lantern, flashlights and a portably battery charger, it seems nearly weightless.

Durability: The SiteLights clip together in a sphere-like shape that does a fantastic job of protecting the LED lights. Don’t worry about these getting damaged on your trip to your site.

Ease of Use: This system couldn’t be easier to use. A couple buttons and easy to connect SiteLights. You will spend more time deciding where you want to put it than it takes to actually set it up.

Value: The true value of this system is that it can take the place of several other lighting products such as a lantern, flashlights, and a portably battery charger. If you are in the market for those things, you can get them all in one easy to use package. Plus, you only have to carry and pack the NanoGrid so you don’t have to worry about forgetting a flashlight or your lantern. You can pick one up on BioLite’s website for $99 which includes the PowerLight and one SiteLight (which features two LED lights).
