The Farm to Feet Adventure Snow Sock Collection consists of several weights of socks starting with the ultra light Jackson. This is completely nylon using friction free nylon yarns to allow for nice tight fitting close for those who like a close sock for their boots. The friction free nylon with the ease of getting your foot into the boot, as well as minimize any heat and blistering you might get from rubbing inside the boot.
The Weights Filled is Farm To Feet’s lightweight sock. It’s used as targeted cushioning and they put half density cushioning in the shin area and in the heel and Achilles area. These are the impact areas in the boot that will help protect you. Plus, the extra nylon here will give you extra durability in the boot. There’s also a flat knit that allows for ease of putting your boot straps on and minimize the bulking in your boot.
The lightweight also comes in a graphic and they offer this in both men’s and women. This happens to be the men’s graphic named The Franconia, which they’re actually doing a partnership with the Turtle Ridge Foundation located in Franconia, New Hampshire and the proceeds of this sock will go to that foundation.
Finally, the Park City which is their medium weight ski sock. Like the Weights Filled it has a cushioning in the front in the shin but it’s a little bit more cushioning. It’s what they call full density cushioning and it’s in the shin and the heel as well as the Achilles’ area as well as the toe. And then in the calf area they put a half density cushioning in the back that provides a heavier, warmer sock for those looking for something like that for back country skiing or just wants a nice warm boot sock for the wintertime.
Farm to Feet, you can find them on www.FarmToFeet.com and these socks will be coming to retailers next fall.
