Sleigh Rides In Northern Wisconsin
There’s nothing like starting a new family tradition – and what better place than at Brandt’s Sleigh rides near Antigo. Their family owned and operated business specializes in old time family fun, particularly as part of their popular 2 hour winter sleigh ride around their family farm. Come hungry, as Brandt’s encourages guest to bring their own food to cook over the open fire after the ride is through. They’re great at accommodating groups – with room for up to 20 people per sleigh! Sounds like the start of something special!

Just imagine cozying up with your family, as your winter sleigh is pulled by a pair of Percheron draft horses across the Starwood Farm east of Wausau, outside of Ringle, Wisconsin. The destination? A private bonfire that’s been reserved just for your group. Warm up for a while, and enjoy some refreshments before reboarding the sleigh for a majestic journey back to the farm. This is a great sleigh ride, especially if you’ve got children in your group – they’re encouraged to get up close with the animals for a pet and a picture.

Sleigh Rides In West Central Wisconsin
Red Ridge Ranch in Mauston (near the Wisconsin Dells) offers three sleighs that are in operation throughout the winter. With each sleigh being able to hold 10-15 people comfortably, their operation is built for both groups and family outings. Each 40 minute ride is a step back in time, as the horses pull you through the scenic woods of West Central Wisconsin – and back to enjoy some hot chocolate. If you’re looking for the full experience for your friends or family, be sure to book their bonfire ride. You’ll enjoy a 45 minute sleigh ride, combined with a bonfire at their special outdoor pavillion area, complete with hot chocolate and marshmallows. If you’re looking for something even grander, Cabin Ridge offers both an A-frame chalet as well as a large indoor lodge that can seat up to 120 guests. Sleigh Rides In South Central Wisconsin
Rocking L Acres offers one of the most intimate winter sleigh rides that we’ve found in Wisconsin. Enjoy a ride in an open bob sleigh pulled by a pair of drive horses. You’ll take in the sites and sounds of the woods, fields and ponds near the town of Dunn – outside of Madison, WI. While you’ll need to dress in winter clothes, but they provide authentic lap robes that will help keep your legs and feet warm during the ride.
